These pieces were made by taking lumps of clay and squeezing, clawing and rubbing them - somewhat violently - until I could see the shape of a woman. They represent feelings of survivors after sexual assault as well as the universal nature and impact of the issue.

An extended series in development of ‘Handled 1’ with the addition of a wooden plinth structure that is draped in white fabric to mirror the shape of the forms.
