A gallery of photos showing experiments of firing stoneware clay and melting glass into it. The effect created by the glass dripping and cracking is successful however the material and process is unpredictable and often led to explosions in the kiln. I am still navigating these materials and the balance between my mark-making, scale, glass melting and firing/hollowing the clay (as explained in my statement).
